McCann-Caven Golf courses is looking for a highly motivated individual to
operate the College Hill location under the guidance of the superintendent.
College Hill opened in 1933 and is a nine-hole golf course designed by William
F. Mitchell located in the city of Poughkeepsie. Currently, the McCann GC
superintendent operates McCann GC and overseas operations at College Hill GC. This
is a great opportunity for an individual in the golf course industry who is
looking to take on more responsibility while developing skills with guidance to
become a superintendent.
Educational
Requirements: Degree in Turf Management or related field preferred
Experience
Requirements:
Past experience at a
golf course, must have chemical applicator experience, able to obtain NYS
applicator license, familiar with irrigation, pump house and central control.
Salary: $65,000 plus per year depending on experience
