About the Club Hollow Brook Golf Club is a private, non-equity club located in northern Westchester County. Designed by Eric Bergstol and opened in 2004, the club features a par-71 layout (74.2/146) with bentgrass L93 throughout. The course has hosted USGA and MGA qualifiers and Met PGA events. Facilities include a driving range, short game area, pool, and clubhouse with full dining amenities. The club hosts 12-13 thousand rounds each season.
Position Description Hollow Brook is seeking a dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to lead the agronomic and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, hands-on leader, and skilled turf manager with a collaborative approach and attention to detail.
Responsibilities Include:
· Oversee all golf course and grounds operations.
· Oversee irrigation system (Toro NSN Connect & LYNX), weather station, and fertilization system.
· Hire, train, and motivate staff in a team-oriented culture.
· Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
· Develop and manage maintenance and capital budgets.
· Work closely with the GM and Golf Professional to coordinate play and course setup.
Requirements:
· 3–5 years as Superintendent or 1st Assistant.
· Degree or certificate in Turf Management or related field.
· NYS Pesticide License required.
· Valid driver’s license.
· GCSAA membership preferred.
· CPO certification and Spanish fluency a plus.
